TIMELINE TO SEND OUT YOUR STATIONERY PIECES

Your Save the Dates should be sent 6 to 8 months prior to your wedding.

Wedding Invitations for local ceremonies should be sent out 6 to 8 weeks prior and 8 to 10 weeks prior for destination weddings.

Remember to account for delivery time needed to mail your envelopes to your guests.

Flat/Digital Printing: 1-2 weeks

Foil/Letterpress/Screen Print/Laser Cuts: 3-4 weeks

PRINTING METHODS

These are the 3 most popular printing methods we use for our invitations. However, if you are interested in screen printing, laser cuts or any other, please contact us here and we will send you the information.

DIGITAL

Digital printing is perfect for illustrations and designs with multiple colors and a wide range of papers can be used with this method. The cost of digital printing is low compared to other methods.

Digital Printing can be combined with both Letterpress and foil printing.

LETTERPRESS

Letterpress is one of the oldest methods of printing. A unique plate (mold) is crafted and used in the press which will “stamp” the design of your suite onto the paper. This method will create an indentation in the paper giving it a unique texture. If choosing Letterpress it is recommended your suit is limited to 1 to 3 colors. Each color used in this method requires a unique mold and additional run through the press. Due to the amount of time and materials needed this printing method is often more expensive.

Letterpress can be combined with both digital and foil printing.

FOIL PRINTING

Foil printing is similar to Letterpress in that it requires the crafting of a unique Plate (mold).

The mold is used to press a foil sheet onto the paper leaving a beautiful indentation and shimmering appearance. Foil printing is usually used to highlight elements of your suite. The cost of Foil printing is the most expensive printing option due to the time needed and the materials used in the process.

Foil can be combined with Letterpress and digital printing.
